After Midnight
So last night I was telling my Hunny that I was hungry but I can't eat because it's late. Well he informed me it's not that you CAN'T eat late at night, you just can't eat sh*tty food. Like cookies (which I love) or go wolf down a few slices of pizza. Basically he said as long as your eating "live" foods (stuff that ain't processed, like cake YUMMY, then it's okay). Well I didn't really care cuz ya girl was really hungry and it was going on 1am.
Well here is what I made. I got a celery stalk and cut it in half. Then I took out some raw walnut and cashew butter. It's like peanut butter but made with other types of nuts (we also have almond butter but I didn't want that). I then took out some raw coconut butter (which is just smushed up coconut). It's actually really good, it has a sweet taste without the sweet. I slathered both butters on each half of celery and then topped it off with some raisins the size of un-dried grapes. And this is what I got . . .

Well I couldn't eat all those "butters" without something to wash it down so in comes my kombucha tea.

My hubby swears by this stuff that if you want to lose weight, just drink this all day long. Of course it's not the brand that I drink. He drinks the "real" sh*t with some yucky azz bacteria sh*t in it that reminds me of some horrible mucus experiment gone wrong. And yes that mucus stuff just kinda hangs around the bottom of the bottle of the brand he drinks. Yuk! Well he bought me a "soda" type brand that reminds me sugar soda but without all the junk that comes with drinkin about 4 cans of Pepsi a day.
One would wonder with all of this raw food, kombucha tea drinking, and a food health enthusiast for a a husband why does my azz look like this . . . . .

. . . .because for some reason after I had baby number one my fat azz can not seem to lose weight. It's like the fat doesn't want to leave. In those 9 months of me being pregnant for the first time back in 2001, I gained about 7lbs a month. I started off weighing about 145lbs. I'm 5'8 so the weight didn't look bad on me (or so I thought). Well by the time my baby was born in June of 2002 my azz weighed almost 250lbs. I think I lost about 30lbs within those first few months. And gradually more weight came off, but it NEVER came off like before I was pregnant. So I went from a size 8 in clothing to a size 14. *faint* I believe me, my azz used to associate a size 14 with a size 44. LOL. I was soooo wrong. Now I wish my azz could fit a dayum size 14. ha! That's what I get.
I suppose if my azz stop eatin cookies and bread (cuz really I'm a break-crack head) maybe I could shed some extra pounds. I shudder to think how much weight I'd continue to gain if the ONLY food I ate was processed foods and drank a bunch of sugary sh*t all day. *shakin head* I see now that it's easy to put weight on and harder to take it off. Now why is that? *evil grin*
Okay if anyone has in "lose weight" tips that don't involve me running 12 miles a day, hiring a personal trainer, going up and down my stairs for 30 minutes, or pretty much any exercise that's gonna make me sweat like a dayum slave . . . I'm all ears. LOL (that's why my azz fat, cuz I'm lazy) ohhhh lawd, I'ma be fat forever *faint*
I'm out cuz I'm about to go eat. *chuckle to self*

1st of all- your hubby must have some incredible picture taking skillz because you look fab to me! Especially for someone who just had a baby. I do understand wanting to feel comfortable in your own skin though. I'm still fighting the weight off- so no real tips from me, I will say that once I weaned baby #2 I was exercising heavily at the same time and the fat melted off like butter (and then I started eating butter again and put that 30 pounds right back on! lol) You'll get there try not to stress right now you are still too close to postpartum.

uh... woamn please. i gotta see some fat rolls... you look good to me. i lost the weight after my first 2. but afte #3 i was on that shot and blew up. and i couldn't lose that weight and still trying and that was back in 2002. i think i'm gonna lose all i can lose without trying. i think what i have left is only gonna go if i put some work in. :( sorry no solutions here. it hasn't been that long since you had baby girl so give it a little time AND you are nursing so that has a lot to do with it. you won't lose much as long as you are nursing. need some fat to keep baby happy!!! ;)

The only fight is in the grocery store (although I've been known to eat ritz at 1am cause nothing else unhealthy is lying around). Once you make it through there, just eat less than the energy that you need today... does that make sense? Are you breastfeeding?
Check out http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov/
it's a site where you write down EVERYTHING that you put in your mouth for three days vs. your activity. This way you can see what you need to work on. But if you're breast feeding then that's a whole 'nother thing...

Mrs. Richardson, calm down. LOL. You look for a woman who has had 4 babies in a 6 year-period. You have a curvier shape and your hair is nice and thick. You are going on 2 months postpartum and look good. You will be burning off the calories running after all the lil mamas and stuff.

Yo, Aly,
That photo is da bomb. You look great. Don't worry you'll be OK. As long as your spouse can't keep his hands off you, you'll be fine.
Peace.

Girl please, after 4 babies you look DAMN GOOD! Trust! I can only hope I look that good after I have one. lol
Just start a walking routine when you feel up to it. It really does help take the weight off but I'm sorry to report that it may just make you sweat though. :-) If you ever want to upgrade your workout routine, elliptical machines are truly a god-send (IMO). You can burn A LOT of calories in a small period of time. Of course this is based on your rate of speed but still, I had great results with it when I was working out on the regular.

Lady, you are way to hard on yourself. I mean it, you look good. For a Woman who has four and just gave birth, from what I can see you don't have far to go to get where you want to be.
I eat several small meals a day, drink plenty of water and (yes) try not to eat too late. I also walk with they kids and sometimes (it's rare) by myself.
Hope I helped!
BTW~ When you have time stop by my place and pick up your new reward!
Kisses~~

You look fabulous!!!!!!! I know this isn't what you're looking to hear but, it's true. If you're b.feeding then it's not time to be thinking of dieting at all. ;)

I'm going to echo what everyone else has said. For a woman who's had four babies almost back to back you look just fine. Now, I know how it is to know how you want to look. Forget what everyone else says right!? lol I signed up for WeightWatchers Online (no meetings for me. No way!) almost two weeks ago to tackle these extra 15 I've been carrying around for the past year and I've already lost 5 pounds. I will weigh myself again on Monday and I hope I've lost at least another pound or two. But, it's not bad. There isn't anything that you can't eat, it's just about portion control! Check it out when you get a chance.
